The majority of neck and back pain resulting from a car wreck is caused by the whipping motion that is caused by the force of impact. This whipping motion is commonly called whiplash. You can feel the effect of whiplash from the neck to the lower back, and the pain can vary from minor to severe.

• Take x-rays in office right away if needed. Perform a thorough examination to determine the structure(s) involved. Order further imaging if necessary. Get you feeling better and back on the road as soon as possible.

• If the structures are identified, adjustments, and other therapeutic modalities will be performed.

• Prescribe exercises, stretches, and discuss proper ergonomics and activities of daily living to help decrease unnecessary stressors on affected areas.
