Headaches

A headache is a pain in your head or face that's often described as a pressure that's throbbing, constant, sharp or dull. Headaches can differ greatly in regard to pain type, severity, location and frequency. Headaches are a very common condition that most people will experience many times during their lives.

Cervicogenic headaches typically present as pain that starts in the neck and is referred from bony structures or soft tissues of the neck. It is a common chronic and recurrent headache that usually starts after neck movement. It usually accompanies a reduced range of motion (ROM) of the neck.

Our Chiropractors Will

  • Perform a thorough examination to determine the structure(s) involved, take x-rays if needed

  • If the structures are identified, adjustments, and other therapeutic modalities will be performed

  • Prescribe exercises, stretches, and discuss proper ergonomics and activities of daily living to help decrease unnecessary stressors on your neck, and surrounding tissues
